Monday morning we are taking Caleb to the pediatric opthamologist again. He went last year around this time, when he was 10-11 months old for his blocked tear duct. They did a procedure in the office that poked it out and it cleared up for several months. Recently, (the last few months) it has gotten bad again and the last month it has pretty much been gooky every day. It *might* be related to when he has upper respiratory stuff (aka SNOT) but sometimes it's bad and he's dry. So we went ahead and made the appointment to have it looked at again. I hope they can fix it for good, I'm tired of my boy having a swollen red goopy eye all the time. People always ask me if he has pink eye. The last time we went to this doctor there were a lot of special needs kids in there and it made me feel so lucky that this is Caleb's only physical problem. I guess special needs kids tend to have more eye problems. I just feel so blessed to have a perfect little guy, and the only problem he's ever had in his life is a little eye gunk. I'll be thinking of that Monday in that waiting room.
