Those are the highlights from my day yesterday. We took Carly to her two month checkup and first round of vaccines, she checked out great of course! Caleb tagged along so we could have Dr. Phillip listen to his chest. He has been coughing and it sounds terrible, but his chest was clear. Good news there.
Carly weighs 10 pounds, 6 ounces, which is right below 50%. That's up from the last weight check, when she was closer to 25%. (Mama's got good milkies!) She is 22 inches long, so she's gained almost 3 inches since birth (19.25 at birth). She got four shots, and one oral vaccine. That was a new one for me. The Rotovirus vaccine is new since Caleb was born.
While we were there Caleb got a makeup shot that he missed last time. SO, we had him go first, so Carly's screams wouldn't bother him too much. He is too smart though, he knew what we were doing. He saw that nurse come in, and Greg tried to pull down his jeans, and he figured it out pretty quick. I'm SOOOOO glad Greg was there with me, because Caleb is STRONG when he's angry. And boy was he angry! He had never screamed as hard from a shot before. Whew.
The plan is to move April 5th, and I'm taking the kids ahead of the truck (probably) and hanging out at someone's house while the truck gets unloaded. We really don't need a toddler tripping people up who are trying to move in heavy appliances. Anyway, April 5th!! Yikes!
