I might be crazy, but it's worth a try anyway.
In my effort to save a little money and, I don't know, help the world a little I guess, I'm going to try out cloth diapers for a while. Ok, STIFLE that "Gross!" and swallow it. I've already heard it. Let me just say, after doing some research and asking a bunch of questions, it's not that gross really. And there really are people who do it. Although in this disposable city that I live in I'm sure it's few and far between. I'm not going to list all the benefits, just believe me, there are several. I will show you one.
It's CUTE, right? I am not going to be using those burp rags with pins. Only the best snappies and velcros. I haven't gotten any in yet, but I ordered several and I can't wait to try them out.
So on to non-bodily-function talk, here's another video of Caleb's new trick. He does love to walk!! Doors are fun too.
We are still working on those last two molars and they are making Caleb very sleepy and a bit grumpy. I'll be glad when those boogers come through so he'll start eating more. Poor guy hurts to chew so he just wants to suck on his milk cup.

Oh, how life changes
when you have a toddler...
I heard and listened when everyone said "once he walks he'll get into everything." And I believed them all, but I had no idea what to really expect! Our house is a constant wreck because Caleb will take a bottle of lotion out of the bathroom and walk to the kitchen and plant it in a pot under the cabinet. This morning I opened the kitchen cabinet and found a red beach ball in a pot. It was very funny, although I then wondered if I should wash the pot because who knows where that silly beach ball has been! I decided to let it be, since I will most likely boil the contents of the pot before eating anyway. My keys have been put in the trash more than once, socks go in the bathtub, milk sippies end up hidden in places where they will stink if not found soon. Oh, and my shoes are scattered throughout like the shoe department at Ross on a Saturday. I don't even try to pick up after him anymore, because all that bending over would give me a horrible backache. We try our best to straighten up before bed and start all over the next day. As much work as this is, it is even more fun!! This guy toddles around and talks to things and pushes buttons and pets Ladybug and closes doors and beats on windows. It's a whole new world to him and he is loving every minute of it. And I am loving every minute of watching him explore it! This is the best job in the world.

We are finally walking!!!! Check this video out:

On Tuesday I took his walker away so wouldn't have that "crutch" anymore. Yesterday, we went outside to play and since he didn't have anything to hold on to, had no choice but to walk. He walked down the sidewalk three houselengths (about 200 feet) and only fell down three times. The he toddled up the driveway like the video shows. SOOOO darn cute!!!

Water wars
Caleb hates water! He hates his baths so much he screams bloody murder though the entire thing. I have tried everything I can think of to make him not hate it so much. I have put him in a different tub, gotten in it with him, given him new toys to play with, and nothing works. Any other ideas? As soon as he gets out he is fine and happy.
