Still not walking

We're still not walking around here. In fact, poor Caleb is regressing. He now gets scared when I let go of his hands at all. He won't stand by himself anymore at all. He goes immediately to his haunches and then to his knees. He loves to walk with me holding both of his hands, so last night I tried to trick him into walking with a toy in one hand and then I tried sticking a toy in his other hand. But, alas, the babe is smarter than that! He just got mad at me and refused to walk altogether. Stubborn little guy - I wonder which one of us he takes after???

He is waving all the time now and I think we are on the road to saying our first official word. We practice making B sounds all the time (Buh Buh Buh) because our changing table game goes like this:

Caleb drops his paci over the side of the table while getting changed.
me: "Bye Bye paci!" (Waving bye bye)
C: "duh duh" (5 second pause.... then the wave)
me: "bye bye!" (me still waving)
C: "duh duh!"
me: "Buh Buh Bye bye"
C: "duh duh" (Large brown eyes looking at me like, "woman, you craaaazy!"

So I know he TRYING to mimic me, but the B sound is still working it's way out. Fun Times!!

Countdown to the birthday party is ON!!! So excited!!
